Remi is a sweetheart. She loves every person that she meets. Her demeanor is to love and become friends with anyone around her. She is gentle, kind, steady, and strong willed with a desire to please.

Peach is extremely eager to please and is lightning fast. She has a drive to retrieve that is hard to beat, and always carries around a bumper. She’s got a slender build and is very agile. She inherited the “grin” from her grandma Birdie. Peach can turn off her high drive and is gentle around the kids and family.

Dottie has an extremely friendly, person oriented mindset. She stares intently and seeks approval in anything she does. Whatever you are doing, she wants to do it too. Her build is slightly taller and bulky compared to the other dogs we have. She is strong, goofy, and incredibly intelligent.

BRG Silent River, affectionately known as River, is an exceptionally intelligent female with a natural passion for retrieving and a personality that’s impossible not to love. Weighing 57 pounds, River has a lean, athletic build that allows her to move effortlessly in the field. She is complemented by a beautiful medium-length, straight golden coat that is both elegant and practical for a working retriever.

River has an outstanding ability to mark long retrieves, demonstrating impressive focus, memory, and drive in the field. She is currently advancing her handling skills on blind retrieves and continues to make excellent progress as her training develops. River has already earned three of the four qualifying passes needed to complete her Started Hunting Retriever (SHR) title, showcasing both her consistency and tremendous potential as a hunting companion and competition retriever.

Beyond her talent in the field, River is known for her quirky, entertaining personality that keeps everyone around her smiling. She has an excellent “off switch,” allowing her to seamlessly transition from an energetic working dog to a calm, relaxed companion at home. Gentle and patient with children, River is affectionate, easygoing, and a joy to have around. She embodies the ideal balance of athleticism, intelligence, trainability, and a loving disposition, making her an outstanding representative of the Black Ridge Goldens breeding program.
